Penneshaw Campus > Welcome

Penneshaw Campus is an R-9 site of approximately 86 students and is located in the seaside township of Penneshaw. The Sealink Ferry Service operates from Penneshaw to Cape Jervis, on the mainland, daily.

The campus has a large playground area with new equipment installed in 2004. There is a well maintained oval and a single basketball court asphalt area. The Junior Primary block has a large undercover decking extending from the classrooms, with views to the ocean.

Penneshaw Campus has a science laboratory, technical studies workshop and home economics room.

The Computer Room at Penneshaw Campus is fitted with an interactive whiteboard used by students and staff to communicate and collaborate across the Island and with the mainland. Students also use the interactive whiteboard to present assemblies and showcase their work. All classrooms have a pod of 5 computers in them and students have access to the computer room also.

A Public Library Annex is located within the School Resource Centre, which is well patronised by members of the community. A well resourced Kindergarten is situated adjacent to the school and currently operates for one and a half days per week, with Childcare being provided for three and a half days per week.

At Penneshaw Campus we pride ourselves in knowing each student, and supporting each one in individual ways to develop and learn to their potential.
